HOLMRIS B8 Strengthens Business with Additional Management Expertise

As part of its strategic focus on both sales and design, HOLMRIS B8 is further strengthening the operational and customer-oriented areas of its business. Effective February 1, Flemming Windfeld assumes the post of CEO, while Henrik Holmris, who has headed the company since 1995, takes a step closer to customers as Creative Director.

The turnaround over the last 15 months, involving a shift in strategic focus from manufacturing to sales and design, has given HOLMRIS B8 a stronger standing in the market today. As part of the effort to continue improving and strengthening operations and internal processes, HOLMRIS B8 looks forward to welcoming Flemming Windfeld as the new CEO.

Henrik Holmris, who has been CEO of the company for the past 25 years, will be moving closer to customers, product development and HOLMRIS B8’s role as a front-runner in the sustainable transformation of the furniture industry.

Henrik Holmris says:

“I look forward to working much more closely with customers and being part of our strong teams that develop products and concepts to meet the needs of our customers while setting new standards for sustainable solutions in the furniture industry. We have the industry’s most comprehensive and relevant range of green initiatives and services, including carbon footprint calculations for furniture, programs to donate used furniture, environmental labelling and tree planting. I look forward to contributing even more to these efforts.”

Extensive experience will further strengthen operations
Coming from a similar position at System Frugt, new CEO Flemming Windfeld will bring his strong brand understanding and operational economic background to guide the future development of HOLMRIS B8. HOLMRIS B8 has undergone a successful transition from furniture manufacturer to a sales and design business, and now the company is ready to take the next steps.

“I look forward to being part of ensuring HOLMRIS B8’s future growth and to joining a company with a strong culture and attractive products. In the beginning, my primary focus will be on optimizing the internal processes of the business,” says Flemming Windfeld.

Value creation in customer relationships
The changes in store for HOLMRIS B8 go beyond the organization and strategic business focus. The market has changed during the Covid-19 pandemic, with increasing customer demand for multifunctional work zones and better home workstations.

Henrik Holmris says:

“We closely follow our customers and their needs so that we can remain their preferred partner and supplier of the highest quality Danish and international designs. Right now, there is a focus on home workstations and finding the optimal solution for employers and employees – and it is through these close collaborations, involving new products and solutions, that I believe we can create the greatest value for HOLMRIS B8.”
