25hours Hotel

Bold, colorful hotel sets new standards for hotel hospitality

An explosion of colors, patterns, materials and striking solutions meet the eye on stepping inside German hotel chain 25hours’ first hotel in Copenhagen, named 25hours Indre By. This eclectic, playful hotel pampers all the senses, engaging guests in a thrilling storytelling interior created by British Martin Brudnizki Design Studio MBDS.

The hotel’s bold décor ties in superbly with the building’s former function as a university and its historic siting facing the pedestrianized shopping street, Købmagergade, and with the iconic Rundetaarn 17th century tower and observatory next door. Several premises were interconnected as part of a complex building project to create a top location for an international hotel with 243 rooms, a restaurant, bars, patisserie, conferencing facilities, a sauna and a secret garden.

In close partnership with the hotel chain and Hines, the developer, HOLMRIS B8 organized the supply and installation of all furniture and loose fixtures for the entire hotel, the majority of which were custom-made.
