Hip Urban Living in the Heart of Amsterdam
In Amsterdam, HOLMRIS B8 has worked closely with Dutch studio Pubblik & Vos on the furnishing of a new urban living complex. Our Domain, a rental apartment chain developed by Greystar, offers “living as a service” to a new generation of students and young professionals looking for affordable, quality housing where great property service and shared facilities take center stage.
Our Domain is located in the heart of Amsterdam and features an impressive 1,559 rental apartments in three towers connected by a green park. The three buildings share a reception desk, lounge areas, supermarket, flexible work and study areas, movie theater, restaurant, and gym.
A Youthful and Colorful Environment
The interior design concept developed by Pubblik & Vos is hip and colorful, and mixes materials and textiles like wood, concrete, wool, and velvet. The design concept unfolds in the reception area, boasting a stylish reception desk in dark wood and walls in dark colors and decorated with cool skateboards.
In the lounge areas and music room, residents can hang out on large, comfy velvet sofas paired with low coffee tables in concrete and glass, while a series of study and work areas are furnished with dark tables, classic lighting and chairs upholstered with striped fabrics.
HOLMRIS B8 supplied all custom designed and loose furniture as well as window treatments, wall art, decorative lighting, and fittings to Our Domain Amsterdam South East.
