Innovative design for the future of education
Herningsholm School is set to undergo an extensive renovation and expansion in collaboration with GPP Architects over the coming years. As part of the preparation, a pilot project has been launched to reimagine the school’s interior design. This innovative pilot project includes the modern furnishing of three classrooms for 2nd, 6th, and 9th grades, with a strong focus on flexibility and project-based learning.
The furniture has been carefully selected for its high quality and design, blending contemporary colors with warm pine surfaces. This combination creates inspiring and comfortable learning environments that enhance students’ well-being, collaboration, and creativity.
The classrooms are optimized to support dynamic teaching methods, engaging students and transforming learning into an active and interactive process. Herningsholmskolen is setting a benchmark for how modern schools can be designed to meet today’s educational needs.
HOLMRIS B8 has delivered all loose furniture for the three pilot classrooms in collaboration with GPP Architects in Aarhus.
