In betweenDesign: Christensen & Co.
The multifunctional Making Space furniture series is designed to create spaces within a space. This series comprises a ‘family’ of furniture pieces that can be combined in countless ways or function independently.
Placing several of these furniture pieces next to each other easily creates spatial divisions within larger rooms. The furniture can be customized to accommodate different group sizes, making it suitable for use by individuals or by smaller and larger groups alike. Making Space also serves as an excellent room divider, defining and separating multiple zones from one another.
Materials such as cork, plywood, steel, and felt give Making Space a varied expression with numerous tactile qualities. The furniture design includes provisions for hanging items on the sides using cork, felt, or steel surfaces. The use of cork and felt also provides a sound-dampening effect, which contributes to a focused work environment. A robust plywood tabletop adds an inviting atmosphere. The furniture’s impressive flexibility and tactile properties encourage creativity and create ideal conditions for concentration.
Office chairFSC® / Design: Hans Thyge og Co.
Jaba is designed by Hans Thyge & Co. and is a simple and multi-use chair on swivel foot and wheels. Comfort is ensured by the ergonomically shaped back shock that sits on a wooden back arch, which springs easily when moving in the chair.
The chair can be used as a light office chair, e.g. at work tables or meeting tables, as it does not take up much space and is easy to move around in the interior. And then it comes in countless variants to suit any décor.
