Donation Network

Please note: The Donation Network currently operates in Denmark only.

Since 2015, we have donated surplus furniture from our customers to NGOs, institutions, schools, sports clubs, and other organisations that need good, functional pre-owned furniture but do not have the budget to purchase new.

When our customers invest in new furniture, there is often a need to phase out the existing inventory. A large part of it is still in very good condition and far from worn out, and can therefore create significant value elsewhere.

As a member of Holmris B8’s Donation Network, you receive a profile in our system and the opportunity to continuously request donations. The platform operates on a sharing economy principle, where it is up to you how much furniture you request. Members only pay for transportation.

Does your school, organisation, or association need furniture but lack the funds to buy new? Then the Donation Network is an obvious solution.

Registration is free, and you will continuously receive offers of surplus furniture from our customers.

How it works

  • Create a profile in the Donation Network.

  • When furniture becomes available, you can view the donation including photos, quantity, dimensions and a description of its condition.

  • Request what you need. We distribute the used furniture among interested recipients.

  • The furniture is donated free of charge – you only pay for transportation.

Why it makes sense

  • Social impact: Schools, institutions and associations gain access to furniture they need but would not otherwise be able to afford.

  • Financial benefit: We reduce waste and storage costs, while the donations create significant value, including a responsible profile and increased visibility.

  • Environmental benefit: Reuse of furniture reduces the need for new production and therefore saves resources, CO₂ emissions and environmental impact.
